The Easter Week area of the <\/span>Tarragona Biblical Museum<\/b><\/a> is considered the <\/span>Km0 of the Easter Week route in Tarragona<\/b>.  This space consists of an <\/span>audiovisual<\/b> that explains, through the experiences of a <\/span>costalero <\/b>(person who carries the processional pasos)<\/span> the biblical, cultural, and social meaning of this popular religious event.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A series of <\/span>archaeological pieces and reproductions<\/b> provide the biblical and theological account of the “<\/span>first Easter Week in history<\/b>“. A collection of <\/span>photographs, posters and historic postcards and a collection of miniatures<\/b> of the <\/span>pasos<\/b> (platform on which religious images are carried in processions) during the <\/span>Easter Week in Tarragona<\/b> provide a cultural and artistic account of this religious event in the Archdiocese and especially in the city of Tarragona. Finally, the space has a polychrome chalk <\/span>sculpture<\/b> of <\/span>Cardinal Francesc d’Ass\u00eds Vidal i Barraquer<\/b>. The work by the Tarragona artist Bruno Gallart Pardo makes a reference to the prelate’s meaning of Holy Week.<\/span>
