\"Festival<\/a><\/p>\n

Minipop<\/strong> is not just another pop music festival; it is much more than that. Minipop<\/strong> is music, of course, but also art, dance, workshops, theatre, cinema, handcrafted-products fair, gastronomy and party, quite a lot of it. Passeig de les Palmeres<\/strong> will welcome this festival \u2013one of the essential cultural events in Tarragona<\/strong> and the whole country for the entire family\u2013 for the 5th consecutive time between the 5th and 7th of June. <\/p>\n

\"Cartell<\/a><\/p>\n

For what music is concerned, this 5th edition\u2019s programme will present a selection of top-notch artists: David Carab\u00e9n<\/strong> \u2013Mishima<\/strong>\u2019s group leader\u2013, the singer-songwriter N\u00faria Graham<\/strong> or Anna Roig<\/strong>, who will show her skills as a deejay, are some of the main attractions on this year\u2019s edition.<\/p>\n

Llu\u00eds Gavald\u00e0<\/strong>, Els Pets<\/strong> singer and actual music director of the festival, says that \u201cMinipop does not restricts people by their age, and schedule shouldn\u2019t be an issue\u201d. Thus, all the concerts and activities will take place before \u201cwatershed<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"Festival<\/a><\/p>\n

Minipop<\/strong> will transform an idyllic environment as Passeig de les Palmeres<\/strong>, by Balc\u00f3 del Mediterrani<\/strong>, and with some pretty stunning views of the sea and the Roman Amphitheatre<\/strong>, into a convenient enclosure ideal for all audiences. Among the set-up infrastructures, users can find a especially dedicated area for pushchairs and a sort-of resting are for those willing to take it more easy.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s workshops, meant to complement the festival, will approach art to attendees. Overall, there will be twelve proposals designed for kids between the age of 3 and 10 that will teach them, for example, how to make cute little notebooks thanks to Laura Masd\u00e9u<\/strong>, or the way to enjoy urban eco-friendly agriculture, thanks to Gemma Ciuret<\/strong>, among many other activities.<\/p>\n

The 2015 Minipop<\/strong> does also include an Oriental cinema showing together with a high-quality Japanese food dinner, and also a children\u2019s theatre show by the Farr\u00e9s Brothers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The final section of Rambla Nova<\/strong> will be adorned for the 3rd Minicrafts Fair<\/strong>, an exhibition of precious handcrafted creations.<\/p>\n

The festival will also include this year an Instagram<\/strong> challenge! On the 5th, 6th and 7th of June, users can upload pictures that reflect the spirit of the festival to Instagram tagged as #minipop2015<\/strong>, which will actually push the festival itself.
