For huge fans, we are encouraging you to attend the three Great Concerts that will take place in the Teatre Metropol. The first one, due this evening (8pm) will count on the performance of Randy Greer Quintet. This north-American artist is one of the main jazz references, and follows the style and voice of the unforgettable Nat King Cole. The second one, due tomorrow at 8pm, will gather both Roger Benet and the Vicens Martín Dream Big Band, focusing their performance on their brand new disc’s tunes. Finally, on Saturday (8pm), will be the turn of Xavi Torres Trio Feat: Perico Sambeat and Llibert Fortuny, with a concert specially created for the occasion.

Besides, and for the first time, the Festival will gather many activities other than music, with a programme that includes painting, dance, poetry, cinema, theatre and gastronomy among the main items. This year, and in order to mark the 20th anniversary of the Festival, visitors can enjoy a retrospective exhibition in the hall of the Antiga Audiència building that shows the twenty posters of previous editions.

Therefore, if you are one of those with a big big soul, you can’t miss the arrival of New Orleans to the 20th edition of the Dixieland Festival.
