For the fourth consecutive year, and just before Easter holidays start, Tarragona provides family tourism with a great opportunity to discover the city with some incredible promotions at exclusive prices. It is known as Tarragona Family Week, and it will be on from today until April 2.

It is very easy indeed: you book your hotel room or campsite plot you want to stay referring to Tarragona Family Week and, once you’re there, you’ll be provided with a brochure and the so-called “power wristband”, which is personal and non-transferable. Each family member will get one that must be shown in order to get advantage of all the existing discounts and free tickets, among other promotions. Then, there’s just one more step to go: enjoy Tarragona!

Tarragona Family Week makes it very easy, so that users can stay, eat, visit the city, enjoy a number of activities and make the most of several discounts at a low price. For example, those accommodations taking part in this initiative share the same offers: 50€ per night for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids under 12), 3 people (2 adults and 1 kid under 12), or 2 people.

The idea behind the Tarragona Family Week is to position the city as a family tourist destination as well as to reinforce it thanks to historical reconstruction activities, so that tourists make the most of it and want to come back in the future.

This is why a number of free or specially priced activities are available to users, such as a tour round Tàrraco’s Walls or the Roman Circus in order to find out more about them. The power wristband also provides free entrance to the city’s museums and monuments, the Local Forum and the Amphitheatre.

And when lunch and dinnertime arrives, after an exciting walk round the city, Tarragona Family Week also provides users with special prices in some of the local restaurants. Thus, several restaurants offer a 17€ set menu for adults and 7€ for kids, among which we can find Al Natural, specialised in Mediterranean food, Còcvla, homemade food, the seafood restaurant El Llagut, and Take Away Sushi, for Japanese food lovers.

Tarragona’s commercial fabric shops are also part of the promotion, and Tarragona Family Week users can therefore get special discounts while getting to know their products.

So there it is; if you’d like to get away from routine with your family, come to Tarragona, enjoy the Family Week advantages and spend a great time until the arrival of Easter holidays.
